In midlife, changes in energy, weight, inflammation and resilience often happen quietly and are too often dismissed as “normal ageing.” But these shifts are early signals that metabolism, blood sugar balance, immune function and detox pathways need support.

In midlife, the body sends signals long before disease develops. Metabolic strain, chronic stress and low-grade inflammation quietly increase health risks— yet prevention is often overlooked until symptoms appear.

My work focuses on supporting the systems that protect long-term health —metabolic function, immune resilience and cellular energy — before disease develops. Through personalised, evidence-informed care, I help people build sustainable habits that strengthen their body’s resilience and support healthy ageing.

WHY PREVENTATIVE HEALTH IS AT THE CENTRE OF MY WORK

My commitment to metabolic disease prevention and long-term health is rooted in lived experience, not theory alone.

Metabolic diseases shaped my life long before it became my clinical focus.

I’ve experienced it from multiple angles — losing my dog to cancer, witnessing my mother’s breast cancer at a young age, and seeing the impact of metabolic diseases affecting my own family.

My grandparents either lost their lives to conditions such as heart disease, Alzheimer’s, and cancer, or continue to live with the long-term effects of these diseases.

These experiences changed how I understand health, risk, and prevention.

They showed me that these conditions don’t suddenly appear — they develop over time, often driven by underlying metabolic dysfunction and insulin resistance.

That’s why my work is focused on prevention.

Not just managing symptoms, but addressing the root causes early — supporting metabolic health, reducing risk, and building long-term resilience.

Because the early signs — low energy, metabolic changes, inflammation, feeling “off” — are not something to ignore.

They are your body’s opportunity for change.

My Approach

My approach is structured, practical and grounded in evidence.

My work is grounded in a naturopathic, root-cause approach to health. Rather than managing symptoms, I focus on understanding why imbalance is occurring by assessing how the body’s core systems — metabolism, digestion, inflammation, immune function, detoxification, and cellular energy — are functioning together.

As a certified and registered Naturopathic Practitioner, Nutritionist, Metabolic Balance® Coach, LifecodeFX® Practitioner, and currently in training with Nina Fuller -Shavel’s Systems Approach to Cancer as well as Nasha Winter's Integrative Metabolic Oncology Course,  I integrate multiple disciplines to provide a personalised and comprehensive approach to care.

I use personalised functional testing, alongside clinical assessment, to identify the underlying drivers of dysfunction.

From there, I develop tailored, evidence-based strategies that may include targeted nutrition, lifestyle and environmental adjustments, movement, and appropriate supplementation.

The aim is to restore balance at a foundational level, support the body’s natural capacity to adapt and repair, and help you make informed choices that support long-term health, resilience, and healthy ageing.
