hey, hey!
Naturopathic Medicine Practitioner and Cancer Prevention Expert
hey there! I'm Petra
A proactive, personalised approach to metabolic health, resilience, and healthy ageing.
I support Midlifers to improve metabolic function, strengthen immune resilience and reduce long-term disease risk, including cancer, through evidence-based, individualised care designed for lasting vitality and longevity.
I’d love to support you.
Why Preventive Metabolic Health Matters for Longevity and Disease Prevention
Because most health issues don’t start suddenly — they build quietly over time.
In midlife, changes in energy, weight, inflammation and resilience often happen quietly and are too often dismissed as “normal ageing.” But these shifts are early signals that metabolism, immune function and detox pathways need support.
In midlife, the body sends signals long before disease develops. Metabolic strain, chronic stress and low-grade inflammation quietly increase health risks— yet prevention is often overlooked until symptoms appear.
My work focuses on supporting the systems that protect long-term health—metabolic function, immune resilience and cellular energy — before disease develops. Through personalised, evidence-informed care, I help people build sustainable habits that strengthen their body’s resilience and support healthy ageing.
Prevention isn’t passive.
It’s practiced—daily.
Why me?
WHY PREVENTATIVE HEALTH IS AT THE CENTRE OF MY WORK
My commitment to cancer prevention and long-term health is rooted in lived experience, not theory alone.
Cancer entered my life long before it became my clinical focus— through losing my dog, witnessing my mother’s breast cancer journey, and later discovering my own positive BRCA gene result. Each of these experiences fundamentally changed how I understand health, risk, and prevention.
They taught me a critical lesson: waiting for diagnosis is not a prevention strategy.
These experiences also shaped how I engage with healthcare. I realised that blind trust without understanding, questioning or personal responsibility, can leave people passive in their own health. And passivity does not protect us.
This realisation led me to focus my clinical work on prevention rather than reaction. I chose to study what actually influences disease risk, particularly cancer: metabolic health, inflammation, environmental exposures, lifestyle patterns and the body’s ability to maintain balance over time.
Through my education and years of clinical experience, I’ve seen a consistent pattern. Many people in midlife experience subtle but persistent changes—declining energy, inflammation, metabolic shifts, gut issues or a sense that something is “off”—yet are reassured that everything is normal. These early signals are often missed, despite being the most powerful opportunity for prevention.
My approach is evidence-based, integrative and highly personalised. I focus on strengthening the systems that protect long-term health: metabolic function, immune resilience, detoxification and cellular energy. This work is not about fear or extremes. It is about understanding your body, reducing risk where possible and building resilience for the years ahead.
I do this work to reduce risk, strengthen metabolic resilience and support the body’s ability to adapt — before disease develops and alongside care when needed — so you can age with strength, clarity, and confidence.
If you are looking for a proactive, informed approach to your health — one that prioritises prevention, balance and long-term wellbeing — you are in the right place.

Facts
Most people are told to wait for symptoms.
But disease risk builds quietly over time.
My work focuses on early prevention and metabolic resilience — supporting your body before problems escalate. It’s about reducing risk, making informed choices, and feeling more in control of your health as you age.
Less fear. More control. More confidence.

My Approach
My approach is clear, practical, and grounded in evidence.
My work is grounded in a naturopathic, root-cause approach to health. Rather than managing symptoms, I focus on understanding why imbalance is occurring by assessing how the body’s core systems — metabolism, digestion, inflammation, immune function, detoxification and cellular energy—are functioning together.
I use personalised functional testing, alongside clinical assessment, to identify the underlying drivers of dysfunction.
From there, I develop tailored, evidence-based strategies that may include targeted nutrition, lifestyle and environmental adjustments, movement and appropriate supplementation.
The aim is to restore balance at a foundational level, support the body’s natural capacity to adapt and repair and help you make informed choices that support long-term health, resilience and healthy ageing.
